OBJECTIVES

To provide theoretical knowlegde in various functions and elemens related to maritime engineering technology, identifyng problems in operations and maintenance, as well as providing guidance and practical skills in the field of engineering technology, including shipping and offshore oil & gas. This program is carried out in accordance to the Watch Keeping Engineer (WKE) program. WKE is a competency training program recognized by the Marine Department of Malaysia and International Maritime Organization (IMO) to qualify a person to work as an engineer on board ships.

Marine Superintendent, Surveyor, Offshore Engineer, Servicing and Maintenance Technician, Marine Engineer, Ship Designer, Quality Control and Quality Assurance.

Accommodation fee of RM 150 per month (inclusive of electricity, water consumption & transportation)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Malaysian Students:

◊Passed SPM /SPM(V) with minimum 3 credits inclusive of :

Mathematics & any 2 Subjects

◊Obtained pass in Bahasa Malaysia, Additional Mathematics & Physics or
◊Engineering Certificate from IKM / IKBN / Politeknik with minimum CGPA 2.5 or
◊The same qualification from any institution recognized by the Malaysian Government.

Foreign Students:

Please submit your High School and any other relevant qualifications.
